6X9 Speaker Template - The way i've done this in the past is: It's a leftover from my previous setup and the car i'm using now has a 6x9 slot. Install was a snap, took about 1 hour to do all four doors. Mount the 6.5 on the template; I have an avic d3 and pioneer 3way 6x9's up front and 3way 6.5's in the rear (also pioneer). I'm going also put mounts on them so i can take them out of the cab and hook them on the bed whenever im hanging out at the beach. I want to get all of the bass out of the 6x9's thats why im going ported.

I love the way they sound, i found both sets for $100 so that was reasonable. Get a piece of 1/4 mdf, or similar wood; Mount the 6.5 on the template; I want to get all of the bass out of the 6x9's thats why im going ported.

I Would Drill The 6X9 Chassis To Fit The Factory Mounting Holes Rather Than Drill More Holes In The Vehicle.
